At Eyes on Meridian, we’re not your typical optometry office. We’re a locally owned, independent practice with a fresh take on what eye care should feel like: personal, relaxed, and actually enjoyable.
Our goal is simple. We want every visit to feel less like an appointment and more like catching up with people who care. From the moment you walk through the door, our team is focused on making you feel welcome, seen, and genuinely taken care of.
And yes, we’ve said goodbye to the air puff. Our exams use advanced, comfortable technology because we believe great care doesn’t have to be uncomfortable.

Meet The Team
Hi! My name is Nessa Livingston, born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I was that nerdy kid who picked her future job in elementary school—and actually stuck with it! I followed that passion through to my doctorate from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2010. After starting my career in the Seattle area, I eventually found my way to the Treasure Valley and haven’t looked back. My favorite part of being an optometrist is the relationships I get to build with my patients and their families. It is truly rewarding to be able to help my patients look and see their very best while continuing to preserve their vision for years to come. When not at the office, I’m in mom mode usually rocking a yoga pant/hoodie combo and chasing around my three boys. I’m an avid coffee lover, endless multitasker, and amateur mixologist. I also have an amazingly supportive husband who is a huge part of the practice behind the scenes.

Hi, I'm Dr. Melissa Fowler, a Southern California native. After completing my Bachelor of Science at UC Santa Barbara, I graduated with honors from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2007. As an optometrist, I'm dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized eye care for all ages, treating my patients like family. Outside the clinic, I love spending time with my husband, a local orthodontist, and our two kids. We're big fans of Idaho's outdoor life, from snowboarding to hiking, and we're always busy attending our kids' sports events!

Annika Lessard, OD
Hello! My name is Dr. Annika Lessard, and I’m originally from Northern California. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology with a Human Emphasis at Boise State University and later earned my Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Boise quickly felt like home during my undergrad years, and I always knew I wanted to return and build my career in this community. During my clinical training, I gained hands-on experience in a variety of settings, including a school-based clinic, a nonprofit community health center, and a private family practice. These experiences shaped my patient-first approach and deepened my commitment to delivering thorough, personalized eye care. I love getting to know my patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident in their vision and overall eye health. Outside the clinic, I enjoy hiking, trying new restaurants around Boise, and spending time reading on my patio with my Kindle. I'm excited to be part of this community and look forward to caring for patients of all ages with kindness, attention to detail, and a passion for great eye care.

Hey! My name is Tanner and I’ve lived in Meridian ever since my family moved here from South Korea in 1998. My family is quite adventurous and has instilled in me a love of traveling. I’ve been all over the United States and have even had amazing opportunities to travel abroad. I’m excited to have be a part of the world of optometry by such a fantastic practice. With over a decade of customer service experience, I love being able to help provide patients with personalized and high quality care. My favorite part of working in this field is making connections with patients and brightening their day. I believe that a visit to the doctor should be something to look forward to and I can’t wait to welcome you in! I am a nerd at heart and love playing video games in my spare time. On the weekends, I can usually be found playing DnD, strolling through downtown Boise looking for a new place to eat, or taking impromptu road trips with friends.

Hey there! I’m Kimberly, and I’m happy to be part of the team here. I was born and raised in Idaho, and my family immigrated from Mexico in the early ’90s. My roots are incredibly important to me, and I’m grateful for the community we’ve found here. Before optometry, I worked in everything from farming to finance, but I love getting to connect with patients and help make their visits easy and enjoyable. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and dogs, trying new restaurants, camping, and watching Studio Ghibli movies. I’m grateful to be part of such a great team!

Hi! My name is Shaye, and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Saipan. I’ve been coming back and forth to the Treasure Valley since 2017 and officially made it home in late 2024. I’ve always been drawn to roles where I get to work with and support people. Before joining Eyes on Meridian, I spent time in both customer service and criminal justice, which gave me a strong appreciation for communication, trust, and showing up for others in a meaningful way. Being part of this team has been a great fit, and I love getting to help patients feel comfortable and taken care of each day. Outside of work, I’m usually planning my next travel adventure, getting into a good movie or TV show, or listening to my favorite island playlists.

Hi I’m Val! Born and raised in North Texas, My boyfriend and I moved to Idaho in February 2026! In our free time we enjoy walking the Greenbelt with our chihuahua Puma and Trying new cafes in the area. I love helping everyone, new and experienced with glasses, find their perfect fit! Hi! I’m Savannah, born and raised in beautiful Idaho. As a first-generation Mexican American, I’m proud to carry both my father’s Mexican heritage and my mother’s American roots with me. I began working as an optician in January 2025 and quickly fell in love with the world of optometry. Having worn glasses since I was 14, I especially enjoy helping patients see clearly and feel confident in their eyewear. I love that optometry allows me to keep learning while building genuine connections with the people I meet each day. I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing team! When I’m not adjusting glasses or helping patients navigate their insurance benefits, you’ll most likely find me snuggled up on the couch with my two dogs, Olive and Nala, or enjoying the outdoors with my husband.
