About Our Office

It’s so nice to SEE you! Now that we’ve gotten that pun out of our system, let us introduce ourselves.

Eyes on Meridian is an independently owned optometry office that was born out of a simple idea – what if going to the eye doctor could be fun? OK, maybe not “fun”, but at least a pleasant experience?

We put customer service at the heart of everything we do. This means our team takes pride in providing a warm, friendly environment for patients so that your experience here is second to none.

And yes, if you were wondering, this means we do not perform that dreaded “air puff” test here.

Meet The Team

Eyes on Meridian- Nessa-1 (2).jpg

Hi! My name is Nessa Livingston and I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I was that nerdy kid who declared my future occupation in elementary school and stuck with it all the way through receiving my doctorate in 2010. Since graduating Southern California College of Optometry, I have spent the last decade as an eye and vision problem solver, first practicing in the greater Seattle area, and eventually finding my way to the Treasure Valley. I absolutely love general eye care and have a particular interest in dry eye disease and myopia control (slowing the progression of nearsightedness). My favorite part of being an optometrist is the relationships I get to build with my patients and their families. It is truly rewarding to be able to help my patients look and see their very best while continuing to preserve their vision for years to come. When not at the office, I’m usually rocking a yoga pant/hoodie combo and chasing around my three young boys. I’m an avid coffee lover, endless multitasker, and amateur mixologist. I also have an amazingly supportive husband who is a huge part of the practice behind the scenes.

Hello! I am Kristie and I have been a Boise resident for the past nine years. I grew up just south of Cleveland and am still in love with all things Ohio, including my Cleveland Browns – Go Brownies!! It’s hard to believe, but I began working in the optical field 28 years ago. I have a passion for eyewear, frame styling, and staying current on the newest technology and trends. I gain the most satisfaction when patients leave the office looking and seeing their very best. I believe that choosing the perfect frame should be fun, informative, and stress-free. I am the mother of three adult sons and a daughter-in-law who is the daughter I never had. In my spare time, depending on the season, you can find me cheering on our Steelheads, Broncos, or Hawks and also enjoying all of the outdoor activities that the Treasure Valley has to offer. I’m so excited to be a part of Eyes on Meridian and can’t wait to show ya’ll what we’re all about!

Hey! My name is Tanner and I’ve lived in Meridian ever since my family moved here from South Korea in 1998. My family is quite adventurous and has instilled in me a love of traveling. I’ve been all over the United States and have even had amazing opportunities to travel abroad. I’m excited to have been welcomed into the world of optometry by such a fantastic practice. With 10 years of customer service experience, I love being able to help provide patients with personalized and high quality care. My favorite part of working in this field is making connections with patients and brightening their day. I believe that a visit to the doctor should be something to look forward to and I can’t wait to welcome you in! I am a nerd at heart and love playing video games in my spare time. On the weekends, I can usually be found playing DnD, strolling through downtown Boise looking for a new place to eat, or taking impromptu road trips with friends.
